Gearbox
By accurately dosing an inhibitor inside the sand molds and cores, the ProMetal RCT process can assist you in creating large Magnesium castings without permanent toolings. This part measured approximately 729 x 433 x 118 mm and weighed a mere 7.5 kg. It was obtained in only 5 days, of which 2 were spent dispatching the molds to a specialized casting foundry.

Static Turbine Blade
The fabrication of this hollow stainless steel turbine blade would be challenging using tradional casting techniques. The ProMetal RCT process offers the ability to fabricate 4 complete mold and core packages in one setup, or approximately 48 hours of production. Such a high productivity grants the ProMetal RCT process a definite advantage in low volume manufacturing applications.
