Purchasing Agent (technical) (m/f)
Your responsibilities:
- Purchase of electro-mechanical goods
- Reduction of costs through value analysis together with our technical employees
- Price and contract negotiations
- Support in the preparation of technical documentation for the purchase of technical components mainly in the metalworking industry
- Assist in the creation of requirement profiles
- Develop partnerships and seek new suppliers as appropriate to achieve cost savings and performance improvements
- Coordination with the R&D department, product managers and company management
- Participate in the implementation of the purchasing department
Your skills:
- Mechanical engineering degree or comparable training
- Experience in purchase of electro-mechanical components and assemblies
- Experience in the negotiation of supply contracts
- Ability to read / understand technical drawings
- Well-founded knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Self-motivated and able to deal effectively with conflicting priorities
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Good negotiating and inter-personal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- A team player
